I have one calling in life: to help people.
For over 20 years, I’ve followed that calling — whether through building mental health communities, using comedy to open up tough conversations, or guiding clients in therapy toward healing and growth. Whether you're working through relationship struggles, sexual concerns, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, therapy is a space where change begins. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on underneath the surface and make space for new insight, self-acceptance, and meaningful progress
Why Work with Me:
At this point in my life, I help people as a psychotherapist. The world is chaotic, and reaching out for help still carries stigma — especially for men. Admitting you're struggling, or opening up to another human being, can feel daunting. Men are taught to feel shame for having the same God-given feelings as the other sex. But God gave men tear ducts too.
I’ve been shaped by life lessons, good role models, and personal trials. Of course I want to help others — it’s my calling.
Here’s what I offer:
A safe, judgment-free space to explore shame, fear, and emotional pain.
Sex therapy to support healing around desire, performance, intimacy, and sexual identity.
Relationship support for those feeling disconnected, stuck in conflict, or unsure how to rebuild trust and closeness.
Support for men’s issues, including identity, burnout, emotional expression, and self-worth.
A thoughtful, heartfelt approach — I have the mind of a thinker and the heart of a poet.
Real care and commitment — I truly care about every single one of my clients.
My goal in therapy is to clear confusion, calm chaos, and help mend broken hearts — while honouring the quiet wisdom of the knowing heart. I bring the mind of a thinker, the heart of a poet, and genuine care for every single one of my clients
What to expect
As my client, you can expect a therapist who listens, who will never judge, who cares, and who is empathetic and compassionate. I listen and clarify to understand. I test ideas and challenge beliefs. If I feel my client’s beliefs need to align closer with reality, I suggest the necessary changes, but I do so gently and respectfully, as I am always thinking about how my clients feel.
I ask questions, ensure understanding, offer insights, use techniques to promote ideas and positive and adaptive changes in behaviours, and offer truths for growth and healing. I assign homework to treat negative symptoms, to chart growth, to gather information for theories, and to see the effectiveness of treatment.
My Personal Highlights
I walk 10 to 15 kilometres a day with my chocolate labrador — rain or shine.
In the summer, you’ll likely find me hiking or camping in the wilderness.
I’m an eight-time published writer, with work focused on love, truth, spirituality, philosophy, and children’s pedagogy.
I love to cook, host dinner parties, and explore new places.
Italy is my second home — its culture, food, and beauty inspire me deeply.
